COUNTDOWN!!

As of today, only 70 days until Chris and I tie the knot!! This engagement has been flying by...it is so hard to believe it's already been five months! We have had a lot of fun planning the wedding, and we're trying to enjoy every moment of the engagement period because it will be over before we know it! We've gotten most of our big planning details taken care of already, which will make these final two months a bit more laid back as we wrap up loose ends and finalize plans! I got to try my dress on for the first time today and a wonderful friend, Chantel, did a trial run on my hair for the wedding yesterday. Both are amazing!! It's getting so close and my excitement grows every day!!!

frustration/joy

it seems as though i am physically incapable of completing the next 2 weeks worth of school assignments. i have been staring at a computer screen for upwards of 2 hours trying desperately to motivate myself to do this homework and NOTHING is working. i thought, maybe it's because my apartment thermostat reads 81 degrees, so i put a fan on...nothing. then i thought, maybe i need to eat dinner, had a sandwich...nothing. then i thought, maybe i need to do something enjoyable first, shopped for wedding shoes online, even found some cute ones!! still, not able to work! in 10 very short days i will be completely finished with school for a whole 3 months, and even the anticipation of clearing my mental slate is not enough to force me into this case study. ah! what to do?

in other news, i got to spend the weekend in san diego visiting my family, including my perfectly amazing, brand-new niece whom i love and miss more and more every day, my sweet fiance chris who i am lucky enough to be marrying in 82 short days (wow!), my dearest friend katie and her wonderful boo cameron who left yesterday for costa rica, and i even got to end my trip with an all-together-too-short visit with the one and only julie baker who played me music of the angels on her harpity harp. i am so lucky.
